We have just uploaded some more old recordings found in the dark recesses of Eric’s attic, including six never heard before demo’s from an early session to find potential tracks for the album. Plus a very rare (and a little jumpy!) copy from Eric’s old VHS recording of the band performing “Don’t Stop” on the UK TV show Razzmatazz!, so head on over to the Music and Video pages and enjoy!

For the first time on CD, this is the definitive collection of the band's single releases, including their ultra rare Indie single 'Is There A Reason'. Other A sides includes 'Don’t Stop', 'Passion In Dark Rooms', 'Paris Is One Day Away' and 'I Don’t Need Your Love Now'.

Singles to be re-released

Cherry Red Records have announced they will be re-releasing The Mood back catalogue from Sony BMG in the form of a 19 track CD to be titled “The Singles Collection”. The CD which is due for release late July 08 will include all the bands singles and B-sides, plus additional tracks from the US album. This has come about due to continuous demand to have The Mood’s music available on CD for the first time.

Since The Mood split in 1984 there has been very little information about them, until the advance of the internet brought a steady increase in the interest of the band and their records. There are many comments on forums across the internet asking where to get further info on the band as well as the content on YouTube and Wikipedia, so we thought it was about time for a dedicated home for all things The Mood.
